Hey, I just watched your Dry Bar Special from May 1, 2021 and I just wanted to say it is the first time I have been able to or have allowed myself to really laugh in the last 10 months. I had a son pass away unexpectedly and nothing in my world has been the same. Sure, I have "laughed" but haven't allowed myself to really laugh and feel it. I was worried that the fun and happy part of me may have disappeared, but tonight I was able to feel a spark of the old me again. Also I am a nurse so the past year has been a little strained and it is good to be see some humor again. So for that, I say thank you. Wednesday

I appreciate you saying that. I really have to be careful to do this joke in some areas. I think it's just silly and I try to be light hearted with it but I've definitely had some people get quite upset. And to those people I say, maybe you shouldn't go to a comedy club. Because there will always be something that will upset you. Comedians take things and make light of it. When we can't do that anymore, then comedy will fade. I'm happy that most see I mean no malice in my comedy style and jokes...

Same here. I vividly recall our dangerous playground and wouldn't have wanted it any other way. I fell off our set of uneven bars onto the BLACKTOP below and broke my left arm in second grade. I remember our newly installed (around 1992) merry-go-round. The line to check it out was as long as our recess, but kids wanted their turn. The same year it was set up, the king of spinning the thing stumbled while running in a circle to get it going fast and broke his femur. At the same time the merry-go-round was installed, we also got a tire swing. That lasted maybe a month before a girl was thrown from it at insane speeds and ended up in the hospital for a few days. Even after all those incidents, they remained at the playground until right around the year 2000. I can't help but wonder, with that many accidents in the first year, how many more happened before they finally decided they had to go.

@Lulu-mj2fi17 сағат бұрын
@@RobLittle clearly you don't have to have common sense to tell comedy it seems. Classic, white guy uneducated, cringe behavior. If you take too seconds to look that song up, you'd know that the "counting song" was originally a song counting all the ways they wanted a person of color to die; the song was originally titled "10 Little N_____", disgusting. Then a movie producer wanted to use the song but because of the time period where people of color were fighting for basic human rights, they replaced the N word with Indians. And some use soldiers. Then the songs lyrics were cut to just numbers but the origins are disgusting. The song is stupid and unnecessary no matter how you sing it and does NOT make counting easier smh. But if you think it is, just say apples or something weirdo. Also, jokes about pedos is unnecessary and creepy. Many people unfortunately are victims if they survived; no one should find that funny to joke about.
