I've bought so many books during my studies of Islam, I know I have Warner's 13 Lessons among them. It might have been part of a group study I was involved in, and that helped a great deal. but my initial study I was on my own. I was compelled by 9/11, but it was to try to understand this "lunatic fringe" that had hijacked this peaceful religion. What could this Quran contain that would inspire anyone to drive passenger planes into tall buildings. I did read my first three translations cover-to-cover, because I was in search of intelligence in its teachings (there is none!), and any verses that were causing this misunderstanding. Islam's core text destroys the brain's cortex. It glorifies terrorism, but the entity purported to speak in the book is basically mindless. He knew no science, no ancient history, nor the Bible he erroneously claimed to have sent. This god knew nothing, because he was animated by some very powerful 7th & 8th century Bedouin. The cure for this disease vector is Christ, the image of the Living God, in whom the entire Godhead, the triune fullness of Deity resides.

Political Islam in Indonesia (my personal experince) Comments ex Muslim living in Thailand. Many Muslims claimed that our country is the perfect example of how Islam has integrated successfully into society including the government and politics. But as an Indonesian the situation here is much different then some muslims claimed. It is prohibited here to criticize on anything that involves the religion of Islam, once you do you get persecuted and sent to jail (example would be Jakarta's governer Bapak Ahok or Basuki Purnama who got sentenced to prison because he stated the truth about Islam, and also because he is non-Muslim). Absolutely no freedom of speech or criticism when it comes to Islam here. Also, there are groups of Muslims here who wanted the Sharia Law to be integrated in Indonesia and their following is quite huge. Muslims here get special privileges and treatment that followers of other religions dont get. Example, they have mosques here all over Indonesia that produces a loud adzan everyday, and if we complain about it we will get attacked and persecuted (theres an actual real life case that just happened here) but some churches and temples here get bombed by Muslims. Some Muslims can also demand to close down churches / temples if the majority of the people in that area agrees (majority are Muslims usually so sometimes it happens). But you cant do the same in return. Muslims also use the blasphemy law to protect the interests of the Islamic religion from any criticism, even though there are many positive and constructive criticisms. I admit there are good Muslims, but the Ex Islam expert says: - Muslims are lazy to read and study the Qur'an correctly and thoroughly - Islamic religious teachers hide teachings that make no sense and are against human rights - study Islam conditionally Arabic language and Arabic culture. This requirement is more severe than entering Harvard University, which is having an English proficiency requirement called TOEFL. - Because Indonesian Muslims are rarely able to read Arabic, irrational teachings, controversies, contradictions and violations of human rights are never known to good Muslims. - The best Islamic learning is from ex Muslims. The method of learning by rote, brainwashing and avoiding debate in the Islamic education system is a planned effort to make people believe in certain beliefs through manipulative ways. Memorizing and brainwashing kill critical attitudes, common sense and conscience. It breeds blind loyalty to a particular set of teachings or figures. You could say, brainwashing is the fastest way to produce a terrorist. It is a pity that education in Islamic primary and secondary institutions in Indonesia (madrasah and pesantren) for almost 10 years has used rote and brainwashing methods and avoided debate. Ten years of education includes Kindergarten (1 year), elementary school (6 years) and junior high school (3 years). The ILO organization forbids kids(kindergarten, elementary and junior high schools) to work for money, age & body is not yet possible, likewise if these children are forced to do "brain" forced labor to memorize thousands of verses of the Koran, this is also a violation of children's human rights! Has the Islamic education system as above resulted in the Islamic state being left behind in many fields? Modern people claim that religion is man-made and that God never embraced religion. Without religion the world would be more peaceful and comfortable. The best option is to believe in God without the need for religion. What is your opinion? Best Bibliography: 1. KZbin Videos - Christian Prince (very good at Quran versus Bible) 2. KZbin Videos - Dr. Bill Warner (very good at politicizing Islam) 3. KZbin Videos - Dr. David Woods (very good at Islamic untruth) 4. KZbin Videos - Robert Spencer (very good at Jihad) 5. KZbin Video - Ayan Hirsi Ali (very good on Women in Islam) 6. KZbin Videos - Ex Muslims (very good in terms of Muslim experience) 7. KZbin Videos - Christopher Hitchens ("Today, Islam most dangerous ideology", Hitchens)

Boy, am I looking forward to the followup episodes! I was hoping that one day either you or Dr. Jay Smith would host Dr. Warner as a guest. Good show Al Fadi. Oh, by the way, Dr. Warner publishes some really good material on the Quran, the ahadith, the Sharia etc. Essentially, really good, useful and understandable précises based on the Islamic originals. Maybe you could get him to bring some along for your next show. Pretty valuable stuff for your viewers to own. Speaking of books, do you intend to publish your PhD. thesis? Having watched your episodes with Dr. Smith which deal at least tangentially with your doctoral thesis I am interested in owning a copy of the finished work to see what the final verdict (in your view) is regarding the changes in the Quran.

At the line of contention, is where the battle is fiercest. To retreat to have peace does not end the struggle. Such gives ground. Which is costly to regain . The Bible is clear that we are to hold our ground (stand). For it is ground paid for by the cross. God is on the move, HALLELUJAH!!!!!

To clearify the contradiction between Meccan en Medinan sura"s: The Meccan sura's are interpeted and discriped by Waraga ( cousin of Hadidja Mohammed's first wife) who was a Nestorian CHRISTIAN who acted according the christian canon to make it appear peaceful . When Waraga died and Mohammed moved to Medina It started to become violant and political unstabel and the Medinan sura's started abolishing the Meccan sura's until ALL the Meccan sura's being not inforsed any more. The next time and confrontation with a muslim about the peacefull Islam refering to Meccan sura's The answer have to be that the Meccan sura's are no longer inforsed by Islamic doctrine and should not be acceptable by anyone. Thus Islam have NO claim of peacefull religion because those verse's are being abolised ( counterfited) by the violent verse's.

@@joehouston2833 I dunno, Joe. I spent years with Arabic speaking non-Muslims in PalTalk, and while most of my English Quran-translations are sanitized, they're still violent, stupid, depraved, contradictory, and everything that made me comfortable in criticizing this latrine. My Arabic acquaintances might amplify it, but everything I need to know about Islam trash-talk was in all my sundry translations. No one with a functioning brain would try to defend Islam, so it isn't truth that binds the minds of the Muslims, it's something diabolical. I knew that immediately, even though I'm an English-only dummy. Worse still, I'm female, so Muhammad says I'm deficient in intelligence. Yet, I can out-think his god with my brain tied behind my back, so what does that tell us about Allah? I knew all that from my English sources.

Thank you for your effort! I am ever grateful and the Lord bless you both. Many people are naive about it also because of modern political correctness. This is further worsen by leftist activism who are hell bent on protecting Islam and treating muslims as perceptual victims to be protected while attacking Christianity everyday. Doesn't help that governments around the world buy up their deception and help propagate Islam as being wonderful and a loving religion just like the others. For example in my secular country, any form of public criticism like what you are doing now is forbidden and many times I have asked why only muslim are allowed to leave work earlier or allowed to go for prayers while other religious type cannot? Why is halal food a must have but when I asked for my specific choice, I don't get one? People would dismiss me right away, afraid to discuss any of this. So much for a secular country, double standards and hypocrisy. Anywhere Islam comes the country becomes stupid along with it
