This topic is least heard in the media. Choosing a leader in a *nowadays* democratic world is like presenting a, lets say, piece of icing cake to someone you meet in the jungle and ask them about how well it is made. The person doesn't even know what on the earth cake means, he might just judge based on the apparent taste of the cake. Similarly the lack of awareness about the actual leadership and political situation, nationally and internationally, make people choose someone they deem fit based on the sugary political talks, future promises, and delusional charisma, and completely ignoring the personal disastrous dealings and decision he/she might have made in his/her life. This delusional charisma is nowadays even deeply getting embedded in the Universities and Schools where the person may be going through a Identity Crisis in his/her life but as long as they present themselves to the world in a most suitable way, they are at the top of everything inside the campus, which actually leads to demoralizing the introverts and the silent ones (may be more enlightened and educated) and hurting their self esteem by getting constantly criticized for not speaking up like their other fellows. There's a long way to solve this issue in the next few decades! Thanks TRT for bringing this up!
