the 3 virtues according to Plato are much similar to trigunas i.e satv, rajas and tamas except that we really kept it at individual level and wanted a balance between all of them.

sir you said that the auxiliary class is separated at the age of 30. If that was the case then isn't 30 a quite old age because they won't be able to serve for a long time? and also what was the process of deciding the rank in the army ; was it just spirit or spirit combined with reason?

yes...but to become philosopher kings(ruling class) one needed to train and study further 20 years...only after 50 years one was able to become ruler...

plato saw politics as means to ensure justice, he prescribed ideal social and political order ( ideal state)...this was philosophical normative approach...against it, in WPT, there is empirical and positivist approach ....most of the modern western thinker chose to be more empirical/scientific than philosophical normative...hence Plato drew a sharp line between his approach and the empirical approach... .u may elaborate on these lines
