After watching this interview, I am thoroughly convinced that Bihar has a great future both in industry and tourism sector. I had met this gentleman around two decades back when I had come back to Bihar and just started my business after leaving my well paid job in metro city. Then also, Sri Nitish Mishra ji was not only very encouraging but actually helped me in establishing my business. Yes, he is a proud politician as his father (Jagannath Mishra) was a convicted in Fodder Scam along with Laloo Yadav. He says he never wished to get in politics but fought his first legislative assembly election at age 27! He was the Rural Development Minister of Bihar from 2010-2015 and a lot of bridges which were sanctioned during this period only are now collapsing throughout rural Bihar. Interviewer herself is dumb and didn’t do her thorough research and isn’t even asking him tough questions for these failures. Only thing is narrative building for “clean image” as he is in BJP so he is clean and Tejasvi is Chara chor ka beta! Irony just died a thousand deaths. 😂😂

Any blueprints for revival of industries in Bihar? Only acquired land near Gaya on Amritsar-Kolkata Highway which barely kisses Bihar and is already a relatively profitable route. What about North Bihar & Simanchal. Even Shahnawaz Hussain seemed a better industrial minister than him.

He was the CM of Bihar thrice and thanks to the growing ransom, kidnapping and corruption in his era that led to my migration from Bihar. His father is a convict in Fodder Scam along with Laloo Yadav and amount of corruption he did isn’t even captured properly as they happened in pre-liberalisation era. It’s just that he remained low profile so seems good to you but reality is far from general public.

As long as Bihari's run Bihar, nothing is going to change. The culture of government actions are so that even an out of the state officer becomes a non performer there. You can see the health of Bihar in last 76 years. You can see the bridges collapsing in last 15-20 days. These are signs of a rotten state machinery. People are divided on castes. It's among most backward states and take pride in being the labourer exporter. The government doesn't have the mindset of providing for the people but how to stay on the boss seat. That mindset is what makes this state irrelevant as of now. Leading Indian states have provided for their citizen and in the process have grown.
