@@patrioticNaga7 i am not a theologian or a scholar... I'm also a believer like you.. I believe that Offering tithe/wealth is honoring God and Obeying Him and I am obliged to. I Timothy talks about different doctrines that contradicts, add to or takes you away from teaching of the Bible(Never mentioned Offering a tithe is a false doctrine, infact read God blessing those who honoured Him with their tithe). Malachi 3:10 clearly mentioned about tithe and God(the Lord of Hosts) telling us to offer tithe and TEST HIM. Romans 6:14 talks about Sin and under the Law - for instances, the Pharisees trying to trap Jesus under the Law. Does Jesus redeeming us from the curse of the Law means we should ignore everything in the ten commandments like Thou Shall not Murder and so on.... Infact we find a Widow offering all that she had and Jesus acknowledging her offering. I put my take on Malachi 3:10 when it comes to Tithes. Because I am offering this to God and not the people. God will judge on our actions....

First of all Nagaland became a part of India just because of Article 371A. Without this article Nagaland becomes a separate nation. This article was to protect us by allowing us to practice our customs and traditions and because of this allowance Nagaland became a part of India. Beef consumption is a part of our tradition here. Therefore, are we not valid on not allowing the yatra? No one should bring religion here because beef consumption is not about religion for us, maybe for you but not us. First of all we have no issues or hate against any hindu community residing in nagaland or across the country. There are many Hindu people residing here in nagaland and doing their business etc but we have never imposed any norms or regulations on their religious practices. They have even setup their own mandirs and perform their daily rituals etc.. but we never interfered because its their beliefs and their choice and we have no right to dictate them. Secondly, beef is a source of protein for many of us and it has been part of our diet for decades. And since nobody want this topic to be discussed or explained in scientific terms let me put it out in spiritual terms. So as per your belief if cow is god then i am sure it will have the power to bring calamity or wrath against those particular group of people who have consumed their meat or harmed them right? Then how comes nothing has happened to anyone who have consumed the meat or slaughtered the cow! Thirdly, If you guys consider the cow as your god then why do you guys let them roam on the streets and let them eat garbage and let them sleep on the road side? Why not gather them and keep them in an ashram, animal husbandry or at your house and feed them proper food? So my final take on this issue will be, let one keep their beliefs within themselves and not try to put it out and implement it on every individual because god gave each and every individual a brain and a mind to decide what they want to do. so no human has the right to dictate the will of other person. Knowing that India is a diverse country, one should also not try to bring up religious regulations that will hamper the peace and harmony of the country.

Why, just because any state is under India, is it legally bound to follow whatever mainland Indian practise and believe, forgeting their own rites and cultures as handed down by their ancestors. Do not blame on a particular religion. Even before the advent of the Britishers the people of this region eat beef and other animal meat. And most of the tribal population accept Christianity as it do not interfere with their culture and eating habit. And for your information, the north eastern states were not part of Indian dominion before the British Rule. As such , baring Assam, Hinduism was not a known religion amongst the tribal population. Besides, Nagaland, this gau yatra rally is also not allowed in Arunachal Pradesh and Meghalaya. However, we all seven states live in peace and harmony irrespective of our regious believes not giving importance to the so called gau raksha group trying to disrupt our peaceful co-existence.

Nagaland, Mizoram, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh also opposes the yatra in the Christian & other ethnic tribal states. The ethnic tribes are independent to secure & practices their own ancestral custom, cultural equally as companies as north Indian. The diversity of language, custom, cultural, edibles are differ. Those who are trading beef ( slaughter houses in india) in foreign countries,why they are not sending to jail & fine. Thanks to the state government of Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya which can't given the permission of yatra in the North east which can hamper the peace, harmony and brotherhood between ( tribal people & North Indian). One side Manipur is burning continuously above 1 years...???

We Ntheast are not against any Religion, race,tradition or culture of others. Swamiji was denied entering the states as it will distrub the peaceful coexistence in state. Swamiji was very clear and rigid of his Yadra saying Cow is our Mother, will make cow as the mother of Nation and will Stop slaughtering of Cows in the Nation, before coming to Northeast. He not only hurt the sentiments of the NE people but it was pure sign of Disrespect and act of Hegemony towards the People of NE Tradition, Culture and Custom. Is India a Hindu state? I thought it is a union of states. Not every state of India is a Hindu state. Nagaland has every right to ban extremist of any religion. Fir your kind information, read the history of Nagaland. We declared Independence on 14th August 1947. After which India forcefully annexed/occupied Nagaland till now. So don't give your stupid opinion without knowing the ground realities. There are so many instances of Cow activities killing people who were selling beef. Is cow more important than human life? If cow if your God, why is it made to go stray when it becomes old? Christianity is a religion which does not kill people in the name of religion unlike Hindus and Muslims. There is nothing to be scared of, rather it brings peace. So the people of Nagaland, or any Northeast state except Assam should ban this Yatra.
