This was my cousin's home course and I played it many times when I visited Scotland. His son, and my 2nd cousin, Conor O'Neil, now a budding professional, I think held the course record there or many years when he was young. It's not a long course, but an enjoyable walk with a good variety of holes - and yes those trees on the first have a way of grabbing your ball. I remember beating my cousin in stroke play with a Par on the 18th - shot 76 I believe.

Wide fairways are a signature of the good Doctor McKenzie. One of his truly great course designs, Royal Melbourne, is famous for them. Oh…. And the amazing green complexes. Great video Andy!

Your titles are getting deceiving for many of us and it’s not your fault. You see when we read a title about golf clubs not being better, we assume you are talking the actual clubs you will be hitting the ball with. Most of us call that a golf course, not a golf club.
