Just one minute in the video and i think you just deliver the solution for an idea i have in mind.

hey amazing tutorial as always! if anyone is looking for a fix with the circle rounding at 11:20 you can use cell / dim instead of norm

oh yes, that's exactly what i was looking for! thanks a lot!

Interesting stuff - I haven't touched the physics objects for years but this inspired me.

Nice one! Would make a lot of sense to turn off the cube after a second collision. First collision, lights up the cube, second collision on the same cube, turns it off.

Great idea Kevin! Will do next vid

nice so see you here Kevin! I also wonder how Federico would manage the states in Max! If i had to do it I would send "dict" and to keep the state on a javascript object so you could do all the state management in there.. i wonder if the performance would be much worse and/or make things laggy compare to regular patching.

Thank you very much for this tutorial. Got thing working, yet still at times, the spheres leave the cubes circle. Tried increasing the size of either cubes and/or spheres, yet, they can still leave outside circle. Curious why the "glitch" if we are dealing in a 2-dimensional space upon removing plane 3. Any insights? Thank you! Now headed to watch (and continue to develop patch) part 2. Tried to figure out a "sweet-spot" for the spheres restitution and landed between 1.05 & 1.075 (final 1.06), yet, over time they still eject past boundary. I wanted to ensure the spheres made it to the top of circle over a period of time.
