The Christmas Markets in Europe are fabulous. Actually, is love to go to the Berkshires in Massachusetts to the farm that used to belong to my cousins. It always seemed so cozy and smelled of fresh bread baking in the wood burning stove. These paper bag projects just get better and better.

Nice paper choices on that cover! Love the floral cluster that reflects the poinsettia paper. As I use hardware weight kraft paper bags for all the pages in my photo albums, I buy cases of 500 bags at a time. I love creating with paper bags. It will be fun to try your binding technique. I like that you pay attention to coordinating spreads...provides a nice, cohesive look. I am so happy to see this KZbin series starting! Falling snow looks wonderfully festive...please pass along compliments to Tech Hubby. Many years ago, a girlfriend and I spent Christmas in Hawaii. We attended a Christmas Eve candlelight church service...the congregation singing every other verse in Hawaiian. There wasn't anyone leading the singing...everyone just seemed to know all the pauses, inflections and various parts...the most beautiful harmonies I've ever heard. No matter where I am, I can close my eyes and I am right back there, hearing those voices and watching candle flames passing from person to person until the entire space was bathed in a beautiful glow. It was Midnight when we left the church...much to our great surprise, there were trumpeters and angels on the roof performing Joy to the World!! Took my breath away!!.

I would love to go back to Italy for Christmas. It is such a beautiful place on its own. I have seen videos of Italy at Christmas time it is gorgeous. #techhubby--thank you for the snowy intro. I am in 116-degrees Nevada and can use all the flakes I can get. Darling Christmas album. I have never made one before, but love the paper bag idea and all the fun inserts, so I think this is the year. Unless, of course, I find a way to visit Venice, Italy. Then, of course, I would look for some lovely Italian papers and make it when I got back to the US of A.

I’m embarrassed to even ask this…. The very first step you show gluing the bags to the cover. You ran double sided tape along edge, then put glue. The next step you folded it over and did the other side. I got lost when you folded it over to adhere in place. Is it adhering in place with room along the spine to do the same to the other side? My brain is thinking if it’s folded over and adhered, how can you open it and do the other side?

Ummm I think I'm not following your question. There are 2 inserts and they are glued one on each side. Hope that helps.
