Hello Ganesh, Been reading your articles on TeamBHP the adjectives that come to mind are "eye popping" and "mind warping" !!!. Thank you for this DIY. Regarding the intake air filter which aftermarket brand do you recommend ? Offhand I see SOFIMA, PUROLATOR and FEBI Bilstien also compatible, asking because the price difference is huge. Or do you recommend that the OE part is better quality wise. Thanks again, cheers. Ps: i read somewhere you also use German Tech to service your car been hoping to bump into you there or somewhere else maybe ... 🙂

Thanks so much Adrian. Appreciate it man. 🙂👍🏻 I usually stick to Sofima, Purolator etc. No brand affinities really. There are a few with the outer layer in sponge which I avoid. Not sure how well those would work. The OEM filters are also cheap. In the last few services, I’ve stuck to the VW OEM filter. Not a very discernible difference in day-to-day driving or on the highways. Yes I also give my car to German Tech for the major services like belt changes, clutch change and steering column replacement. Jaiprakash is really good and knows his stuff, charges reasonably. Cheers man!

Hi Ganesh, noticed you have changed your side view mirrors with integrated indicator type. Please share progress on doing the same . Looking forward to do similar mod. Thanks in advance

Hi Shanu. I’m yet to connect the indicators from the mirrors to the main system. Sourced a pair of these mirrors from a salvage car through a friend and swapped it. Swap is 1-to-1. Have to connect the indicators and the folding part to the new switch.
