Polo Red by Ralph Lauren Review!

I really like Polo Red. it's not the most elegant fragrance I own but it's great for work or casual wear. I get compliments every time I wear it, maybe it's just my skin. to me it's a great smelling fragrance compared to Terre D Hermes.

I myself am a huge fan of this fragrance . I really enjoy using it. It’s goes with any occasion and I get compliments everytime. In addition PoLo Red is a 2014 FiFi award winner( men’s luxury category) the ladies love it. I would have to say there are more pros than cons

I have to say that polo red actually got me started in my fragrance journey and it will always have a soft spot in my heart. I got my first compliment from a really hot girl at the CVS wearing polo red, but I found that I got far more compliments from even guys and girls of course wearing polo red intense. If I were to suggest a nice fragrance that you could wear for any type of situation, except formal and or summer time, I would suggest polo red intense. Polo red is definitely more versatile vs intense, though. I found that in seriously hot situations, intense can get cloying. It's already a very loud and sweet fragrance, but in the heat it's amplified. I have worn it in the heat and I have actually gotten compliments while wearing it in summertime while sweating bullets and had 3 compliments in a single day of shopping. One women followed me just to ask me what I was wearing. She said I was leaving a delicious trail that she tracked down with her nose. Like the fruit loops bird. Rofl. The last part I added. It's very interested how women love gourmand fragrances more so than the freshies. If you want women to compliment you, wear something like Polo red/intense or Armani code Profumo. There are a lot more I could mention, but this is long enough. Just look for tonka bean fragrances or anything that smells like food. rofl.

Wise Beard Man Polo red intense smells like the cherry koolaid powder if you compare them you will be very surprised at the simularity and for me is better than red and red extreme. Only downside is performance is weak esp considering it's a EDP which is suppose to be the best performance.

I dont love this but I do like it ! My girlfriend picked this out and its a fragrance that if your lady has a choice of picking out a fragrance theres a good chance this is 1 she will pick out.... Also the reason Daver you might be associating this with Axe theres an Axe frag called Dark Temptation that has smells similar to how Polo Red Smells in the drydown

I understand why people disagree with me. I get your point. I just disagree. I can't answer every conceivable question someone might have in every video. I think being concerned about the longevity of a fragrance is silly. It's an arbitrary point that some people are sticklers about, and it's tiresome. If that's something you value, more power to you. I just disagree. And that's my point.

This is different than anything done before. It's great. I really love it. I think it's very different and just sweet enough. I cannot understand someone calling polo Black or Polo Red generic. Those two fragrances are very unique.

Cool video,great Collab!!wow,in 57-71 Fahrenheit weather I get from 6:30am-4pm longevity on my skin with moderate projection with polo red.Anything below 57 degrees & above 73 degree fahrenheit,I only get 4-5hr longevity..I only like it because of the cranberry ingredient,Lol!

One time, I smelled this on someone else, I immediately recognized that it was Polo Red. And on THEM, it smelled great! Bummed me out. Smells not great on me.

Polo Red and CK Euphoria kind of have the same vibe to me. Polo Red definitely is a stronger fragrance, but similar enough that you don't need both in a collection. You know who wears either of these... salesmen. It's a salesman's scent?

I love polo red intense, first because that fruity opening smells really good and I can't feel Axe hahaha.I'm the only one that like this fragance?Unfortunatly Polo Red has low longevity, but the polo red INTENSE is normal because is Parfum. And intense conserve the fruity opening.

I have a bottle I received as a gift. I agree with Dave 100%. Smells cheap, and synthetic, particularly in the opening. It does have a long middle which is more muted, and therefore more pleasant, than the opening. I wear it to work on occasion. I would never wear this on a date or to an event. Reminds me a little bit of a chocolate covered cherry. My wife says it is "okay."

Dave..... just a bit of feedback in my humble opinion ... you should do a equal split screen.... a small thumbnail puts your guest in a secondary position... then when you disagree it appears as if you are trumping them...... your still doing a great job!

+enzo Bar thanks for your suggestion! I don't really agree, though. I'm trying to make it look the best it can. Splitting the screen equally is kind of odd visually. I prefer this way because it gives the person talking the most amount of screen and minimizes the person not talking. Plus, my guests often disagree with me as well, so you could easily just interpret it as their opinion having more weight than mine if you want. But personally I don't think most people are reading that into the reviews. And I haven't intended it that way either.

I'm just expecting quality and diversity, something most brands lacks. When i go into a fragrance-store and 9/10 bottles smells the same, it's disappointing. Some stores carry a great variety of good brands, most doesn't. When Polo releases a "new bottle" that doesn't deviate in scent very much from anything they've always released before... why bother releasing new ?... money money.

Dreez76 fair enough. I roughly agree with the lack of diversity.. But I am also practical, Versace and others to me are crowd pleasers and smell good enough to me. Others around agree for the most part as well. Most people that buy colognes are trying to get something that, "gets the job done", most of those brands do just fine with that as well.
