Thank you so much. It is well explained, and it helps some of us who are trying to sew. Please bring us more and more videos like this.

I watch a lot of sewing videos on KZbin - this gets everything right: well paced, clear, well organised and thoughtful use of contrast so we can really see what you are doing. Thanks so much! I'm off to try it out on a guy's shirt.

Hello mam Your videos are awesome Mam, I didn't get perfect stitching of plackets .. Can you suggest me what should I do
@Bhooki3 жыл бұрын
You would need to practice a lot and take your time when sewing. It took me 3 weeks to master sewing a Placket. Sew slowly so you can adjust your stitch

For most adult sizes, yes. But for kids, the length is shorter. Also, the length is based on individual needs.

I appreciate this video very much, but I’m confused…you say twice that you are cutting and then turning in the ½ seam allowance on both plackets, but one side is turned in much further than the other, so they can’t both be the same dimensions? Can you explain? The second placket does not have the same amount of excess for cleaning up the edges. Thank you!
@Bhooki Жыл бұрын
Hi Chris, I am confused about your question. Which seam allowance are you referring to, and if you don't mind telling me which part of the video so I can watch it and give an explanation.

Why didn't you weep the flap with the weeping Machine U are supposed to wee a side of the flap then after joining u weep the doesn't of the flap again Well maybe you forgot
@Bhooki3 жыл бұрын
No, I did not forget. This is a clean method that does not require an Overlocker. After sewing, none of the edges will be visible, so there is no need to overlock the edges.

The placement of the pieces on the placket line, then where to actually sew on both pieces confused me, whether to angle the second piece, etc..... Mine looks like it's been rouched...It is a such a mess I threw it away. 🤣
@Bhooki Жыл бұрын
You have to be very patient. It took me a long time to perfect it, and sometimes, I still make mistakes. Watch it over and over again and keep practising. I'll suggest you practice with a non stretch woven fabric first before moving to a knitted fabric.

It looks easier when watching but it's so confusing while trying this out.... Not for a beginner 😢
@Bhooki2 жыл бұрын
Trust me, it takes time and practice. You can't learn in one watch. It took me 3 months to perfect it when I learn it. Watch it again and keep watching till you find your own way to make it work.
