This was from a double live album in the 70s , Frampton Comes Alive. It was sooo good, literally every teen and young adult in the country bought it. Broke records for double and live albums. And most of us hadn’t even heard of him before this! This launched Frampton into the stratosphere and they basically backed the Brinks truck up to his front door.

Same here. This was our Junior year in HS when my friend got Frampton's album and we planned to listen to it on a Friday night in her basement. So we got a few friends together, some food and drinks and had a listening party. We did this often with many favorite artists - Fleetwood Mac, the Eagles, Linda Ronstadt, Queen - the list goes on and on! Too many fantastic artists in this era!

Frampton was my first musical love. My best friend’s older brother and sister saw him on the Frampton Comes Alive tour, sitting front row center. At one point he wiped his face off with a towel and threw it into the audience and my friend’s brother caught it. We used to take it from its place in one of his drawers and squeal, “It has his sweat on it!” He was the biggest star in the world at 24. And he deserved to be. 😊

Peter Frampton is considered a HOF guitarist. Early on Frampton did session work with; George Harrison, Harry Nilsson, Jerry Lee Lewis, and John Entwistle's. During a recording session with George Harrison at Abbey Road Studios in London in 1970, he was introduced to the "talk box" which become his trademark guitar effects.

Frampton Comes Alive Tour, Anaheim Stadium - best concert ever - we were standing in the first tier and when the opening riff of Do You Feel started everyone in the stadium was standing up. By the middle of the song we could feel the concrete tier rocking - best memory of my teenage years!

I remember playing Frampton Comes Alive album came out when I was 13. That was a great time for music. Rock, Motown, and Country will never be better than that period in time.

In 1976, Frampton Comes Alive was like the biggest album on the planet... And you can still get the remastered CD 48 years later.... And yes, I did get to see him in 1976...

He was the first to perform with a talk box this way. He’s playing the guitar thru that thing! ❤

Frampton IS the man, but Joe Walsh did the talk box before him. Rocky Mountain Way 1973.

Enjoyed your reaction to Frampton! Another great artist you may want to consider is Robert Palmer with his trilogy of Sailin Shoes-Hey Julia-Sneakin Salley Through The Alley. A classic and funky.

Peter Frampton rose to prominence as a member of the rock bands The Herd and Humble Pie before going solo. Still producing music and touring as of last year.

Oh my gosh, it was so absolutely fascinated and enamored with Peter Frampton when I was a teenager. Wow this brings back memories. He was just cute as a button.

As others have mentioned, this performance is great to watch but the definitive version of Do You Feel Like We Do is off the Frampton Come Alive album from 1976. One of the best selling live albums of all time. I wore out the 8-track of it. I finally saw Frampton live in 2013. He still had it and rocked the house. And still did the talk box. PS: With a crew cut these days, you wouldn’t recognize him…. PPS: He thought the black guitar (a 1954 custom Les Paul) was lost and destroyed in a plane crash but it ended up on the black market. Someone bought it, recognized it and returned it to Peter Frampton some 30 years later!!
