I simply can’t stop watching this video. The music is beautiful and the dancing is so exciting to watch. I just had a weekend dancing Polska and learning Roros Pols, Finnskogs Pols is next on my list. I love Skandi trad dance and music ❤❤❤

I just learned this dance from Audun and Anbjorg at Nordic Fiddles and Feet Camp in New Hampshire. What fun! They are such beautiful dancers, and fabulous teachers as well. This makes me so happy to see here!

Att ligga med si käraste och senare gifta är icke fel. Min präst sade att det var fel, att göra det innan :) Jag har aldrig legat med andra koner, men det sägs att det är bättre att hitta en bra, och så kan jag tro att mina söner är äkta vara. Dvs. mina ättlingar, men ingen annans.

Den gamla konen var så lycklig när jag och min flicka hyrde stugan. Hon ville att vi skulle mata katten som tillhörde huset. Det gjorde vi. Hon såg att vi var ett ungt vackert par, likt detta unga danspar.

In Sweden, Denmark and Norway, we might dance beatifully before the doing. (joking ofc) When I visited the USA in the 90's, A woman asked my about sex in Sweden. I answered: you have certainly well caught up on us indeed. I meant, sex is not a great thing. Just a thing.

I found out the name of the song. It’s called: I grenseland. It’s not traditional, but the girl with the accordion is the one who made it I think :>

Her name is Ingunn Bjørgo. I googled "i grenseland Ingunn Bjørgo" and found a pdf with the notation on her web page.
