Thank you for your comment. The sound was recorded in the studio (Fuaime Studio, The Netherlands) and the video was recorded with an iPhone. The polska is one of many tunes learned from Magnus Holmström who is a very good and inspiring teacher.

@@GuyRoelofs Very nice music, I love polska. But this one (like others found on KZbin) seems a bit quick to dance to. I'm in France and I don't know the polska repertoire very well. Is it possible that some like these are not written to be danced? I also understood that some polskas were not in three beats (sometimes 5?). I don't know if this is true and what dance variations go with it. Can you tell me more about this? (I have just realized this video was published a long time ago)

Everything is perfect ! I love the sound of the wooden flute (is it an irish flute ?), especially the trembling effect ! But the other instruments do equally well, and the nyckelharpa is a wonderful invention !

I found notes to this @www.folkwiki.se/Musik/365. The 4th and 12th measures have F# in the ascent but it does not seem that you play it that way. Am I correct or mistaken?

Hello Taurotar, This is the version that i learned from Magnus Holmstrom, a nyckelharpa player from Sweden. He plays F-naturals only. The version on folkwiki is a different version of the same tune. Pick the version you like best!
