Best horror film ever for me. I watched this film for the first time in a cinema in Poland as a child. I will never forget the sight of people in the cinema closing their eyes in fear.

@HalloweenGhouls Yes long time ago mate. I was maybe 12 years old then. Poland, despite being a country behind the Iron Curtain, showed American films in cinemas. Other communist countries never showed this film in cinemas.

The scenes in the kitchen before all the chaos happened was actually filmed inside of the house.

I do share your enthusiasm for this movie. The most frightened I had ever been for the small teen I was at that time. But an octagon has 8 sides.

The creepy thing in the movie for me is seeing a SuperBowl 1988 poster hanging up in Robbie and Carol Annes bedroom above Robbies Bed..u can see the poster hanging up during the thunder storm..if u take note oddly enough and strangely enough That SuperBowl 1988 poster forshadows and fortells the exact date of Heather o Rourke s untimely death on SuperBowl Sunday Feb 1rst 1988 during the wrapping up filming of Poltergeist 3 the final movie within the Poltergeist movie trilogy story.

The steps and the sconces in the wall around the steps is totally changed as well as the brick wall in front of the living room window the brick wall in front of the living room window got damaged during an earthquake.

Are those trees from the 80s? They're saplings in movie. Full grown they line up. Still is nightmare fuel
