Fold the cloth in half and it works a lot better,far easier to detach the cloth brush/holder before you attach it to the tube, those yellow microfiber cloths from Costco fit well,polti have a very good reputation from many a car valeter as being very good steamers,hope this helps

I want a steam cleaner because I have lots of allergies to dust and cleaning products. Have you needed many cleaning products after using the machine? Also, have you cleaned your mattress with it and how does it handle tight corners with packed on grime? Thanks, it is a great video.

Odette Greyling Hi Odette. I don't personally use heavy cleaning products as I have a chemical allergy too. I have done my mattresses more than once with this steam cleaner and what I would say, as an honest response, is that this steam cleaner is great for continued care and a 'freshen up'. If you are looking for a deep clean then I would hire a rug doctor. I used a rug doctor this weekend for my carpets and upholstery and I did see that you could clean mattresses too although I've never used it for that. The shampoo for the rug doctor didn't aggravate my allergy too much. Now everything has had a deep clean I will continue to use the steam routinely to keep things clean and fresh. I hope that helps :) Edit: I forgot to respond to your questions; There is a small tool that gets nicely into corners but if it's ground in dirt then you should expect to use some other cleaning method too. I expect the steam cleaner would help in loosening the dirt to make it easier to clean but I don't think it would be capable of the full job

Hi, yes I still use it. I won't lie, I don't use it as thoroughly as I did when I first got it. My main usage for it is steaming my carpets or spot stain removal on my carpets and upholstery. My lifestyle has changed since I got this and with me having less time I find other methods quicker for some things. This does come out to do a deep clean and is still going strong

@@mentaldetector how is it for cleaning a bathroom. I don't like using chemicals when cleaning so I want something that will clean all the bathroom fixtures and tiles thanks

@@ChiefBrianIrons If you have the time, this will do it. I don't like using chemicals either but have found simple products to be more efficient than getting the steam cleaner out. I struggled cleaning soap debris from my new textured tiles with the steam cleaner so I'm getting better results using other methods

Mine is 15 years old and it still works wonderfully well. I have just bought the Lecoaspira FAV80, because it leaves floors, etc., dry. With the Eco Pro 3000 I couldn’t get on with the cliths, so I just steamed then moppped dry.

Murielle Gendreau Hi Murielle, I am unsure where the best place for spare parts would be. I got the cleaner from www.ao.com but they sell appliances so I don't think they'll have the spare parts/accessories. Have you tried the Polti website?
