I have been sinking a ton of time into this game the last couple weeks and ive figured out a few things that might help some people. in the beginning things will be tight for a couple times through the biomes but if you find a couple things, your life will become much easier. you need kate, the axe and the pick axe. gather the resources you need with the axe and pick axe that kate needs to build you the recycle bin. everything you pick up, rubble, cars, parts, guns ect can be placed in the recycle bin and you will be paid in wood, stone and coin. the best way to get a huge amount of those resources fast is by grabbing every car you find while you travel through the biome. when you get back to your house empty each car of the gas in the tank and store that for your use. strip each car of everything individually, doors, engine, tires ect and place them in the recycle bin for a big payout. do NOT place a car in the recycle bin with all its part, you will only get the shell price even if its a complete car. as you travel keep your eye out for one of those storage tanks you find at convenience stores. sometimes they will have hundreds of liters of gas, empty the gas into cans or drain it, its up to you. compress it and take it to your home and you can store water, gas or oil in those tanks so you dont wind up drowning in fuel cans like i was. ammo is kind of hit or miss but if you use it sparingly and use melee on the slow zombies, it wont be long before you have no place to store your hundreds of rounds of ammo. pay attention to your guns you pick up. some guns have better dps than others. the ammo makes no difference. there is no point in stock piling guns, recycle them. they pay pretty well. just save the highest dps gun for your use. if you have the van or blazer with all fluids topped up, and engive at 100% you can make it all the way through a biome without worrying about fuel or other fluids. open as many inventory slots as ;possible. the more stuff you can get back to your house the bigger the payout. and since im typing this, it just occured to me to take the recycle bin with me on a run? recycle EVERYTHING?? i will have to tinker with that lol. engines can be fixed if you find the mechanic and have the resources.

Food for thought. You could find similar cars to the one you’re driving or even just regular cars. You can store an entire back up in a compressed car. Good engine, good tires, good battery. Frees up a lot of space
