Loving the flanger and the revamped EQ for mixing. I also really appreciate how low the latency is on all of your plugins. HyperTune allows me to reap the benefits of EverTune’s tuning stability without having to physically set up and retune. All around, your products are so beneficial for both songwriting and production!

Was short before buying the UAD Lion '68, but some things in the tones did not convince my ears so much, quite apart from the price. This one sounds better and more authentically to me and also offers a lot more useful features for fine-tuning, if you look for typical Marshall sounds, which cover everything betweeen vintage clean, Plexi-crunch up to modern high-gain. Good job!

Seems to be a nice all in one solution. Amp sounds are good, without the often typical digital shrill, scratchy treble, especially if it comes to this amp type, fx-collection is almost perfect and so are all the tweaking options. A polyphone octaver is very nice, it also reacts fast, without the usually too long latency, so are Spring/Plate and Wah, which even seems to be midi contollable, the only thing, I maybe miss is an Univibe, but the phaser is flexibly adjustable, so these tones at least come close. The overdrive/distortion section is flexible and the pedals also sound good, which is not always the case. Link is good and Hypertube (-12), especially in combination with Wide and Spread for me a killer option. (Almost always also on, if I use my guitar to midi solution and play synthesizers with my guitar. There it's called transpose, but for guitar amp sounds alone it's hard to find, as much as a good, latency-free polyphonic octaver.) Even more a dream with these amp sounds. The cabinet presets sections seems to work fine, although I maybe miss a little the meanwhile usual option, to choose different microphones and to adjust and combine them individually, to store some own cabinet/speaker presets or a least some more slots for own IR's. I also miss precise informations about the installed presets (cabinet, speakers, used microphones). This is the only real disavantage for me, maybe an update somewhen improves this section a little. I already have some nice Marshall plugins, but most probably I will give this one a chance, the basic tones are really good and it's more flexible than a lot of other ones. I usually first of all am only interested in good amp - cabinet sounds, but here even using the effects is fun. Well made!

@@polychromedsp Obviously you are on the right way! While testing this plugin, I just have discovered your Hypertune and Wah plugins, great standalone plugins too. Especially the Hypertune is a gem, fast reaction plus polyphonic, exactly, what I always had been looking for, but hardly ever have found in this quality. But, although I have some (more or less) good Marshall plugins, these amps usually really seem to be the "holy grail" of amp simulation programming, at least for me, usually both low-end and treble sound wrong, or even if they do not, the harmonics reproduction is not correct or - also very important - the typical dynamical reaction to attack. Is at least my experience all over the years. Your plugin offers this typical British sharper, but precise treble, without the usual, digital scratchyness, nicely nails this typical, unique tone for me. A plus are the four voicings, which really cover everything from good JTM, Plexi, JCM up to JVM sounds and if this is not enough, your pedals do the rest. You plugin, also with the nice tweaking options stands out for me. So maybe this will become my christmas present for myself. Keep on rocking and thank you for your work!

@@polychromedsp I just purchased it and I must say I am VERY impressed. Everything is well thought, straight to the point and it sounds awesome! This is my new go to guitar plugin, period! Could you just please clarify the Comp pot on the main screen as there's a typo in the manual and it does not explain where it stands compared to the Comp pedal in the fx chain? My only (small) point about Nunchuck is that I wish it had a tremolo in the pre fx section. I don't want tons of effects, it is perfect like it is (I am heavily using wah/whammy/Octaver and in this area there's no better plugin than Nunchuck), just a tremolo and it would be 11 out of 10 for me :) Great job, I am so impressed!
@polychromedsp12 күн бұрын
The Comp pedal in the effects chain is placed before the amps, while the Comp knob on the header bar is placed at the end of the chain (after delay and reverb).

@@polychromedsp Thanks, another great idea! Sorry I've spent more time on it and there's one other feature I would love to see added. Currently midi assignment is only global. It would be great if you could also offer per preset assignment. There are so many things in this plugin that can be activated by midi it would make sense to allow it per-preset because we ususally do not have enough physical controllers to map everything (and it would not make sense), only for Xplode I would need 4 different assignments. I would need it for specific presets of course but with global assignement it takes up space on my midi controller for preset where I do not use Xplode (just an example). Thanks

It says there are 250 something preset mix ready tones ready to go? Just curious why things keep having to get adjusted or cleaned up. Maybe I haven’t made it to preset yet in the video, but who knows ! Oh and is hypertune just a part of everything or can u still use it separately
@polychromedsp21 күн бұрын
Hey, Nunchuck come with 250+ presets installed. We use HyperTune as the transposer for Nunchuck, and we have a full version of HyperTune available as a separate product for users that want additional features, and to easily use it with other plugins that they own. Hope this helps.

@feedthewolf693021 күн бұрын
@poly NDSP has transpose options as well and they don’t work for recording purposes. Tons of artifacts and latency have not used hyper tune or this plug-in yet but I’m considering it. I’m assuming Darin is a guitar player who uses your stuff? Also Can I use hypertune separately with this or do u have to use it within suite
@polychromedsp21 күн бұрын
McRocklin has done a shootout with the Neural transposer which you might like to check out : ) We have a separate HyperTune plugin if you want to use it with your existing plugin collection, but if you don't have tones that you happy with then you might want to check out Nunchuck which uses HyperTune as the transposer. Please see our website as all of these plugins are on special right now.

@@feedthewolf6930look nowhere else. You will never use the Neural again. Just saying. If you watch Thomas over the years with Polychrome you will understand where this all comes from and why.
@feedthewolf693021 күн бұрын
@@timothy5974 well I definitely haven’t watched Thomas long and it doesn’t matter what brand or transpose function is available digitally they all come with unwanted, latency, and unwanted artifacts. Some just more than others Neural DSP is made more for live stuff as far as transpose features concerned and it works pretty dang good for that purpose. The video I watched wasn’t comparing the plug-ins. It was comparing the actual QC hooked up to a computer to the hyper tune. But the transpose function on NDSP plug-ins don’t work a whole lot better than what was shown anyways so I guess that part is irrelevant I’m just hoping I can actually record a track transposed with this hyper tune and not have to apply it afterwards because I find that it takes away from inspiration and not tuning for other ideas that might pop up while recording
