Such pure talent. Such simplicity and none of the grossness of so much of today’s music. I’m 79 and grateful for growing up in that era.

When I was in the 8th grade I would listen to songs on my transistor radio just before going to sleep. This was one I really liked! After it was over I turned my “Candal”radio off and drifted off to sleep. Those Were The Days!

I purchased this single of Mary's when it came out in 1968 on a whim. Had no idea who she was. I still have that single and I too, list her as my favorite singer. Choosing a favorite song is really difficult. One I really like is "For All My Days" from the soundtrack off of the movie "Kidnapped". It appears she never recorded the song elsewhere. Awesome voice, pitch and range.

Mary Hopkins is extremely boring, perhaps she just might win at children's kareoke,if you have a six year old daughter get her to sing this song and she will sing it better than Mary Hopkins
