Goede instructie! Heb het zelf gedaan met jullie Cruiser24 8 mm lijn (2 schoten met oog aan gennaker-schoothoek gesplitst. Heb het met een haaknaald gedaan en steeds takelgaren als treklijntjes. Dat lukt ook wel maar met splitsnaald zal het zeker makkelijker gaan.

Onze Cruiser 16 in 6mm lukt wel met Selma naalden, omdat die losser is gevlochten. Anders zou ik de D-SPLICER splitsnaald gebruiken voor dunnere diameters, die is daar speciaal voor ontwikkeld.

May I know the length of your hand tool if the rope is 12mm diameter and also the estimated length between point A to point B. Tq

The distance between A and B determines the size of the eye, that's a personal choice. In this case we took about 10 cm.

When you take the right measurements, you can. Make sure you use the right size needle when marking the points, if you do this correctly there is nothing to worry about.

12, 10 en 8 mm lukt nu wel, maar 6 niet :-(. De kleinste van de 4 Selma naalden krijg ik niet door de mantel als ik in de laatste stap de kern in de mantel moet stoppen. Heb je daar tips voor? En voor het ophalen van de kern in de eerste stap? (ook alleen een probleem met 6 mm). Groeten, Duncan
