Too many books, so little time!

My bookshelves have overflowed to piles on the floor and bins in the garage. This is one of the reasons I don't want to do a bookshelf tour. But maybe sometime, I'll make a video of the two shelves that represent my current language projects and those I want to get back to sometime soon.

Can you imagine getting a Bulgarian book but in French? Or learn Japanese but IN Chinese. Now that is challenging haha.

+Blake Alger I have several on here that are in French for Bulgarian! Lol All of the books I bought in Europe were either in French or German so there's quite a few resources here that have no English in them -A

Don't throw away Dino Buzzati, especially now that you're learning Italian! (even if the copy you own is in French I think). He is one of the most famous writers in Italy, and certainly one of the most brilliant Great video, when you uploaded the clip where you reorganized your shelves I hoped to see the 'show and tell' video :) and here you are :D

Awesome video! Many thanks to the author of the channel for the recommendations! The problem with many people is that they want to take a "magic pill" or get "secret knowledge" and immediately have skills and abilities. However, the truth of life is that knowledge, skills, and abilities do not come by themselves. You can't learn a foreign language without doing anything, without wasting your time and effort, just like you can't learn to ride a bike lying on a comfy couch, listening to lectures and watching videos about "modern methods of learning" on a bike. To really learn something, you have to really practice every day. You're going to fall down while you're learning, and you're going to get bumps - that's normal! The ups and downs of learning are an integral part of our lives. Motivation from success and depression from failure will always be your study companions. However, every student has problems in his or her studies that he or she lacks the knowledge to solve. It can be: poor memorization of words; no progress in language learning; the student can speak, but does not understand speech by ear; misunderstanding of grammar; incorrect pronunciation, etc. Agree that a problem you don't know how to solve is very demotivating. In order to find the answer to our question we have to spend a lot of time to read videos, articles and books by polyglots. In today's world, we have to solve problems as quickly as possible. I don't have time to study and analyze a huge amount of information. My goal is to master the basic knowledge of a foreign language as quickly as possible and already start earning money effectively in the international arena. I settled on the practical guide by Yuriy Ivantsiv " Polyglot's Notes: practical tips for learning foreign language". This book is always in my bag. If I have a problem while learning a language, I quickly find the answer in this book. There are many different techniques and tips for learning a foreign language in Polyglot Notes. I have made my own individual schedule and plan for language learning. Now I know what I am going to study, how I am going to study, when I am going to study and what results I am going to achieve. No problem could stop me! With an effective language learning plan my professional skills are more and more in demand internationally every day. Friends, don't stop there! Everyone has talents that millions of people around the world need! Learn the language and make your ideas and dreams come true! Thanks to the author of the channel for the informative and useful video! Your videos motivate me.

My oxfam bookshop is amazing ! Recently I picked up a Norwegian teach yourself for £1.99 I'm not planning to study Norwegian but for that price it was worth buying just to have flick through and have on my bookshelf . I've started buying phrasebooks from there too , bought Hungarian as I went there 2 weeks ago and just picked up a Dutch phrasebook as I'm going on a road trip to Amsterdam staying in a hostel in 2 weeks time . then a week after that a road trip to Poland

Hello! Have you heard about "vocabulaire progressif du français"? there are a few levels and I'm using Niveau Débutant. I love it! There are books from this series about grammar or communication as well. You should look at it, I guess :)

Oh I bought the advanced one for uni years ago (because it was on the list) but I never used it. Trying to force myself to use it now to brush up on French and learn vocab I didn't come across yet. I've been telling myself to do it for weeks, I should really start!

omg I have that same Ljubljana book. It is a series of three I picked up in Slovenia seventeen years ago! I've never seen anyone else with that book in the US.

I don’t know if you knew but , the books is pronounced “B-ahbull” it’s named after the Tower of Babel in the holy bible.

You buy some books to learn the languages, it's a good thing. French is my native languague at the moment I learn English and I like it.

Hi Abigail I loved your bookshelf you have plenty of good books! nevertheless would be great to have the Bible in any of your target language, i been reading the Bible with a plan of 2 years, that you read a chapter or 2 by day and at the end of 2 years voila! you have read the Bible, is a great book and teaches you a lot more than many other books. I totally recommend that book for you, by the way the Jerusalem's Bible is one of the best translations and is a French original one. Please keep going with your videos I always enjoy them.

Hi Sapphire :) yes I know there are some apps that I tried a couple years ago, and they're great also for learning the Bible and keep up on a language. I'm learning French and German and what about you? what languages do you speak?

Ana Smith Unfortunately I only speak English but am working on becoming bi-lingual. I am conversational in Arabic and British Sign Language and am learning German at the moment.

Sign Language wow that's very interesting! I always wanted to learn it! oh and there is no "unfortunately" that you speak 2 languages, the most important thing is that you improve yourself step by step, is all about improving and growing, for example the Bible helps us improve in live and teaches about God, and languages helps us grow in our relations and plus many others so keep going with those languages and make them shine ;)

if you like a language and feel motivated to learn it, it doesn't really matter how many people speak it in the world, you can always talk to other people who learn it, watch movies in the language, listen to music or even travel to the country and talk to natives
