I've been looking at this bike quite a bit lately. I usually buy a frame, then swap over components, but this seems like a solid build for the money. And I wouldn't have to take all my parts off my Nimble 9 just yet. Can't wait to hear your review and look forward to the upgrades!

This bike is definitely worth a look. I’ve give some honest feedback in future videos.

That’s stupid heavy. Even with no tubes and smaller tires you’re still looking @ 34/35lbs. For a 130mm travel. That su@ks. My spectral 125 stock was 35lbs. After I did my mojo it’s @ 30.6lbs. (Non carbon)

Awesome man. Canyon makes some great bikes as well 👍 I think I’ll be able to get this down into the sub 30lb range but probably not as light as yours.
@LaurentiusTriarius5 ай бұрын
My trance x29 aluminium was 36lbs out of the box with pedals, with a ton of very light parts it's about 29 1/2 pounds with trail casing light tires and 32lbs with the Michelin dh22/34 😮 To get under 33 I have made horrible things to my wallet 😂

@@JaredHoffI’d love to see the update with this bike sub 30#…and what that 7lb weight loss costs. 👍

Overall, nice build but heavy as most will say. I have the T8 and changed to Hunt Trail Wide wheelset and dropped 2.5lbs and it changed the bikes ride immediately - not bad for about $500 upgrade. Enjoy it!

I’m currently looking for a wheelset to use in a future upgrades video. Money is always the issue $500 Hunt wheels seem like a good option 👍

Glad to see it came with TRP DHR Evo's it's probably the best bang for your buck along with Lewis LH4 brakes at that price point. All in all pretty tasty spec 🍰

100% that Fox Performance Elite fork is amazing as well 🤩
@mrvwbug44235 ай бұрын
Yeah the brakes and fork are seriously top notch for that build. I'm actually surprised they didn't opt for 150 travel up front. If the back end kinematics are good enough it could probably support a 150 fork. Otherwise you just get a Pivot Trail 429, a bike with a great fork and front end that can write checks the rear suspension can't cash.

That's a sweet bike. Not sure it could replace my N7. But quite possibly.
@JaredHoff5 ай бұрын
The N7 is a great bike as well 👍 I think the T9 is all you need for most trials, but it won’t handle the bike parks and black diamond trails like the N7 and N9 will

Any steering issues with the 35mm stem?
@JaredHoff5 ай бұрын
Nope no issues although I am mainly focused on downhill riding love, the 35 mil stem but on some of my other bikes, I’ll ride at 50 mil stem

Jared. Any help? I am down to the T9 or the TE7. Coming from hardtail - experienced rider. Would be 1st hardtail. I can still muster at 58. Would you grab the analogue t9 because of the better components or the t7e for the joy of ebike and first full susp for me. (I can always hardtail) I read all about Suntour. Im in Texas. Short climbs. Loose over hard. Flow. Some chunk and rock gardens. No serious downhills like the mountains.

37lbs on a trail bike is insane, I had a burly enduro build Ripmo AF that weighed that much with FR560s and cushcore. I also wouldn't call 135/140 a quiver killer, it's still definitely just a trail bike. Quiver killer "All Mountain" bikes are usually 150/160 travel. This is also where I bring up the part where modern enduro bikes have made all mountain bike "quiver killers" obsolete as a lot of your modern 160/170 enduro bikes are even better quiver killers as they pedal just as well as a 150/160 bike while being WAY better downhill. The other quiver killer would be your 140/150 rowdy trail bikes these days.
@JaredHoff5 ай бұрын
I hear ya. I think if I could just reduce the weight on this bike it would handle just about every trail I usually ride. Maybe a 150 fork 🤔 I’ve got some upgrades coming for sure, but it rode pretty damn good right out of the box.
