Polymer Clay Christmas Elf figurine

This polymer clay Christmas elf figurine is about 2 inches in size. You can of course make him larger. He is leaning against a North Pole sign with a teddy bear at his side. At the end of the video I had a little accident and dropped him and broke off his foot.

Hi Maria. How do we enter for the drawing? I watch all your videos and this is the first time I heard about this. I would love to win one of your ornaments lol. I think your amazing! Also where do you purchase your clay from? Maybe you get a better deal than what I’ve been finding. My mom is not doing well so I’m trying to buy a good amount of clay so my sister and I can make a bunch of your ornaments together. She is so excited. We plan on making all the different kinds you made. You always say how easy they are to make but your so good at it. Anyways, I hope and pray you feel better soon. Please be careful and try not to fall. My mom fell about a month ago and broke her hip. Doctors couldn’t do surgery on her hip until they fixed her heart but she ended up having a stroke after she fell and another one during her heart surgery. So now he is only giving her about six months to live and that is why my sister and I will be down there taking care of her when she gets home from rehab. This is taking a toll on both my parents cuz after 63 years of marriage they can’t be together because if this COVID. My dad wants to hold her, kiss her cheek and comfort her so bad and can’t that he is now depressed. So I will be leaving my family and puppies here in Colorado to go live with my dad so I can take care of him while we wait for my mom to get home and I’ll take care of her. My sister is the only one that works because her husband has too many seizures so I’m not sure how long she will be able to stay and help me with both our parents but I will gladly take as much help as I can get. I’ve had five back surgeries and it’s hard on me. Anyways, so please be careful. I don’t want anything to happen to you. I really enjoy ALL your videos! Hugs 🤗 Liz

Hi Maria, I did get my clay in and I tried making the cute monkey 🐒 one and it sure didn’t look like yours 😂😂😂. You make it look so easy but is sure isn’t and when I watch you it doesn’t seem like your going fast and your not but I couldn’t and had to keep pausing it. But of course I will keep trying 😂😂😂. Don't give up! I have been doing this a very lonnnnngggg time! I would suggest that you get some beige Super Sculpey and practice. Take a picture of what you made and if you don't like it just re use the clay. Of course don't bake it!!!

Simply Ornaments Hi Maria, I noticed that when I’m working with the clay it gets sticky and when I watch you grabbing a pice if clay, it doesn’t look like it’s sticky like mine is. Is there something I can do so the clay don’t stick to my fingers so much? 🙁

I use Sculpey III and Super Sculpey but any polymer clay or salt dough can be used.
