Just a beginner here, and always struggle with colors and mixing. This was SO helpful! Thank you! In one of the recent comments said you moved from this platform to FB. If so, what is your fb page so I can come follow?

Oh, I am so glad to hear the video helped you, Lisa! I haven't moved from this platform... we have just temporarily stopped making new videos while we are upgrading our website and business model. unfortunately, it has taken us far too long to get back here. Though it shouldn't be too long now before we start filming for KZbin again. In the meantime, we have been doing a weekly LIVE Q&A Broadcast on Facebook. It is on Wednesday's at 12:00 NOON Pacific Time on our Faceboobk Page facebook.com/polymerclay Hope to see you there!

I just love this video - my favorite so far because having the right color is the most important and fun element to work with clay. It will save so much time and clay for me. I usually bring the blouse that I want to make a necklace for and try to mix the colors by guess. Never thought that adding the same common color would do the trick. So fabulous! Thank you so much!

Oh my goodness, yes! My husband has a hard time with color and more of these types of videos would really help him out. I make Kumihimo ropes (beaded or with specialty yarns) and he makes the Cabachons to compliment the colors I use. Sometimes we just can't get it to work the way we want it. This technique is just fantastic! What a great video! Please do make more videos showing other color combinations that turn out as fantastic as these. We appreciate your tutorials so very very much!

One of my favorite premo colors is an odd one, ecru because when mixed with any color it tends to make a soothing shade of that color. I tend to like the calmer versions in a lot of art.

Hi bubbles26, I use Premo Polymer Clay and they actually have a color called Raw Sienna that I would use if I wanted to mix my own Ecru color. But they also have a color named Ecru, so I would just use that. Raw Sienna is a medium brown color with a yellow under tone. Kind of a dark Caramel color. If you are using another brand of clay you will have to experiment until you get the color you desire. Good luck!
