Polymer Clay Earring Tutorial for Beginners - Desert at Dusk with Moon, Mountains, and Starry Sky

In this video I will be showing you my technique for making my desert at dusk earrings. I use Sculpey Accents Twinkle Twinkle for the Sky, and the mountains and moon/sun are made with custom colors. You can use any colors you'd like. Get creative!!

Hi, I see you using the UV resin and wonder how can you use it without a mask? Doesn't it have a strong smell??

Hi Lee! I should have mentioned in the video to use a mask and gloves. I was wearing a respirator in this video and recorded the audio afterwards. It does have a very strong smell and the fumes are really bad in small spaces. A well-ventilated room and a mask will definitely help. If you aren’t comfortable with resin, I would highly recommend Kato Polyclay with a heat gun. It produces a similar result with no risks. I do a lot of my pieces with it in the wintertime.
