Had another great time. I'm new to polymer clay and have been making loads of jewelry, but I've got the 'itch' to do some tiles and make presents. You know I was "backseat driving" the whole video on which tiles to use. I've got all kinds of notes on where to get supplies. I laughed about the D-S-C-H words, I'm only careful about them when my Great-grandsons are with me (11 & 7 yrs) and the youngest one asked "Grandma, how old do you have to be to use those words". (I excused myself to the bathroom so I could have a good laugh).

Well, I started making tiles from left over clay from my pendants & necklaces. I was doing a Mokume gane in Black-White-Metallic Silver and started slicing up blocks and stripes, then I got some silver trim stickers and pressed them in and they baked OK. I now have to get some other colors & start making boxes (got some small ones on sale at Michaels a while back). I'm excited to start the tiles.

Patti this is such a kewl idea!!! I have tons of scrappy clay :D so I could stamp sheets (thickest setting?) and create random designs ...or do a whole sheet with a large stamp and cut it up? thanks for sharing :D I

I got the frames at my Michaels in the unfinished wood section. The box with the recessed lid came from ACMoore I believe.

At 53:00 minutes, right under your hand is a tile stamped with a stamp, a frame with letters on the inside. Do you know the name, brand of that stamp please? thanks, Jessie
