The blue ones look closer to Monarch opal (also known as sterling opal) which is a beautiful synthetic opal I've been obsessed with for a minute. You should google it... you'll totally understand. It's beautiful! I was actually looking for a tutorial to recreate monarch opal when i found your video... now ive got a few fun idea. :) Thank you so much!

How did you get the sparkle effect? Was it in the alcohol inks or did you add glitter to the polymer clay? I watched the whole video and it was not clear to me where the sparkle effect came from. Thank you.🙂
@JessamaTutorials2 жыл бұрын
Opal flakes were added to translucent polymer clay. That's where the sparkle came from. The alcohol ink just added the color. After baking I added resin and that's what gave it a glassy finish.

Jassama hello! I follow your videos with great interest and I hope to learn at least some of your techniques ^ _ ^ can you tell me what surface you work on? because I tried to work on my kitchen table and the clay sticks all ... I see that you can put both alcohol and acrylic paints in this surface and clean them easily! maybe I can buy myself a layer of that material to put it on the table and work with.

So, I want to see, and make, faux smoky quartz, considering it's my birthstone, and almost June. I think it would be cool.
