Very nice job! I was wondering if it hangs a little sideways with the weight of the flowers all on one side? Can't wait to try this myself!
@SweetWillowDsgn9 жыл бұрын
+Cyn Highfield Well, I hadn't noticed that so I had to do a little test and check it out. No, if the heart is symmetrical and and bail is in the center it shouldn't tilt or hang off center. Hope that helps. Thanks for watching and commenting.

I'm definitely gonna try this but just wanted to ask. whenever I apply the bake and bond stuff to white clay. after I take it out the white has gone darker and doesn't look like a nice fresh white. is there a reason for this. thank you
@SweetWillowDsgn8 жыл бұрын
Lucy, I need to check this out. I'll report back. I usually use the bake and bond to "glue" pieces together to add strength or raw to baked clay so I don't intend for it to show. I'll let you know what I find out.

OK, I do not have a pasta machine to roll out to a certain thickness. How do I roll the clay out to get close? AND is there a special one to use for the clay?
@SweetWillowDsgn9 жыл бұрын
+Mary Clark Hi Mary, you don't need to have a pasta machine. I do think it's best you have some kind of roller like an acrylic roller or rolling pin (dedicated to clay). If you don't have these you can roll a thin snake of clay and flatten between your fingers. It will give you a wonderful organic look to the roles. There are some clay machines (Pasta machines) you can buy in the clay section of your local craft store but any pasta machine will work - get one from the thrift store if you can find one or a relatively inexpensive one to get started. It's not absolutely necessary, but is a convenience and gives consistency. When you're getting started no need to buy one unless you think you're going to keep going with the clay. Hope this helps.

thanks! Your reply was VERY helpful. Yes I will buy one, just need more cash LOL
