Very nice! I just recently made a pair of earrings with crushed glass. But mine was very simple. It was like half a flower cutter and I used the glass for the center. I was just playing. I do like the chippy choppy look too! TFS!

When I don't have gloves and just need them for picking up stuff like you did, I use plastic sandwich/ziploc type bags. Just a little fyi in case you need another option 😁 Also, I love your videos! Wish you didn't have to worry so much about what other people thought. You should just do what is best for you and the heck with what mean people say. You can't please them anyway!

Lovely as always Deb! I love the "Chippy Choppy" method of creating beautiful pieces in polymer clay. And it's a Deb original. I find it relaxing and soothing for some reason! I am wondering if the silver mica powder was a gunmetal color? As always thank you for sharing your beautiful and amazing creations. You are the best!❤❤❤❤❤

If I may offer a suggestion, if you put the foil in before the pigment it will stick better. Beautiful work!
@clayboutique2 жыл бұрын
Why would putting the foil in before the pigment help (it?) stick better? It’s the liquid clay that brings the pieces together… Thank you x
@patriciaroberts51472 жыл бұрын
I love it when you say ok now that is exactly how we want it then you touch touch or ok now that is exactly how much we need and in the same moments you slice alitte more its great and don't chop to small as ur chopping and then go back and chop alitte more before use lol its great lol I'm sure we can all keep up but its great watching 😊 lol

Hello! First I want to let you know how much I enjoy all of your tutorials. I find them easy to follow and very entertaining and gorgeous. A couple of questions, do you bake your pieces directly on the card that is on top of a tile and how long do you bake them and at what temp? Thank you again for inspiring me. Also, Mr. Clayboutique is adorable.
@clayboutique2 жыл бұрын
Thank you. I usually bake on the card, so as to avoid shiny bits on the back. I just put the card on a baking tray and bake. The temp you need to bake is on the package of clay, but I always bake for 45 mins to an hour.

What do you use to clean your brushes after being used for the liquid clay?

It was a silicone brush. You just wipe it off.

Beautiful!!! I'm going straight to Amazon for the colored glass chips, I only have gold and silver. Where did you get a heart that shape? I like that it's different

Just a thought. Have you ever thought of putting the camera on the opposite side of the table???? I don’t know if you can or have tried it, but it seems plausible.
@clayboutique Жыл бұрын
I’m not entirely sure why you’re asking this, because this video is over a year old, so I don’t remember what I said. To answer your question, though: no, because the camera isn’t on my table, it’s clamped to a shelf above my desk.

My dear lady. You are never going to make everyone happy with your camera angle. Make it as best as you can but most important comfortable to work with if your worried about shadows and cant work because of the new position you’ve had to assume no wonder you cant think. Now go get your goat back. 🤣💕
@clayboutique Жыл бұрын
I’m not sure what you’re referring to. No one got my goat, and all I said was that I had to adjust the camera angle to avoid shadows.
@m.c.5124 Жыл бұрын
@@clayboutique I’m so very sorry. I thought someone must have said something as that’s the second time you’ve talked about shadows. I think you do a great job. Sorry if I’ve hurt your feelings with anything I’ve said. Best of a new year to you and you’d💖
