A continuation of our series on polymers we encounter as part of our daily lives, we investigate polymers used to absorb energy and cushion impacts. We discuss polymers used to make PPE such as helmets and ear plugs. Join our discussion of the chemistry and science that enables these cushioning materials to perform as personal protective equipment.
