This is a fantastic hotel and the main reason we went to Tahiti. The people are amazing. I posted a video of the TV show I watched that got me hooked on that. I would be happy to share the link if you don't mind? I am starting to put together my vacation videos (I know two years later).

Hi Steve.. nice to hear from you! Yes. We would love to see your video. The resort is going to be closing for a bit for a renovation too.... You might have to go back to see the changes. 😂

Here is the show that started it all for me to plan my trip. It’s about 20 y old so the video is low res from my vcr. Ever since seeing this I wanted to go visit this island and hotel. It did not disappoint. kzbin.info/www/bejne/g3qThGSejKhpjLMsi=H_KsLKzYaDoLodLI

@@darkavich1 I remember watching that when we were making the booking and you sent it to me. But I will watch it again!

Hilari and I were considering Rangiroa until we heard about the strong currents around the island. Snorkeling in strong currents is not our thing.

Yes. There are places without currenta too though. We can talk about it for trip 3. 😎

There are many places without strong currents. You can float forever, just around the hotel or in the place they call the aquarium. The guides will take you to places that meet your skill level. Carl can make sure you are setup correctly.
