@Dragon Ball fans can't read I feel like you can have both.. I mean there's nothing wrong with wanting to get better, competition can be healthy, just gotta remember to serve the music first and to not give up. Do you ever hear a song that's written and feel the same way about writing songs that are coherent? Because I do. You could write your opus and the next morning hear a song so we'll crafted that you feel poopy about yours a bit. If you didn't, then you aren't looking to grow any further.

@moviebad109
@moviebad109 2 жыл бұрын
That’s been there for a while tbh. Tim never takes the forefront for “solos” His Melody’s sound like solos, but even looking back on songs like G.O.A.T. Scottie really took the defined guitar solo of that track. I definitely agree it’s nice to see more of it. He’s a phenomenal player who gets shadowed sometimes by how ridiculous Tim is as composing hooks.

0:38 With the comment on this feeling like older Polyphia, i couldnt agree more and honestly RTYWD as a whole just feels like the culmination of Polyphia's past and current work as a blend. Ego Death has a big prog metal feel like a lot of their stuff on Renaissance, and some of its sections, as well as parts of Chimera and the entirety of Bloodbath go back to their older metalcore roots. Some of Chimera and all of Playing God definitely represents their new age of virtuoso classical guitar. Neurotica and Genesis feels like it would fit right in with the rest of the songs in the Most Hated and New Levels New Devils era. And ABC, Memento Mori, and Fuck Around and Find Out, while not being representative of one musical idea or era, definitely represent Polyphia's core idea of trying to blend styles together for a new and innovative sound. The whole album is just an absolute masterpiece and feels like their Magnum Opus
