So uh. When I was in college . I was addicted to saying the word Goose. I did a sarcastic PowerPoint on geese, and the threat they cause to humanity for school. On Halloween, dressed as a goose , I searched Goose . On KZbin . Of course Goose came up, and I quickly found this video. Back in the day when the Blood Sugar Sex Magic album from Red Hot Chili Peppers came out, and the drum tracks just jumped out of your speakers and smacked you, everyone was wondering - how did they get that amazing drum kit sound?! (They recorded the drum tracks inside of a glass solarium/greenhouse, if memory serves.) That was my first question hearing this track. Tight and punchy, so thick and tasty, but clean and brightly defined throughout, and it never steps on the other instruments anywhere. Excellent recording and mixing!
