POLYPOND - Complete Installation

Polypond -Pond lining helps in water conservation. We lose maximum amount of water stored in tank, ponds & canals due to water seepage into the earth which reduces the efficiency of the canal and Ponds. Pond liner is a boon to the Farmer during droughts. With help of this stored water in the Pond liner it can be used for agriculture without depending on the monsoon rain. It is also used in Aquaculture Industry to prevent saline water from entering the neighboring fields.
An impermeable pond lining is used for water retention, including the lining of lakes, garden ponds and artificial streams in parks and gardens. Pond liners need to be protected from sharp objects (e.g. stones) below the liner and from being punctured by any objects in the water body.
Polypond is one of the most affordable and cost effective geomembrane liner materials in the market today with international quality standard and has some of the best physical characteristics in the liner. Polypond has unmatched puncture and tear resistance compared to other geomembranes available.
Lamifabs uses only virgin resins in their HDPE reinforced polyethylene fabric. This allows for a very consistent geomembrane liner material. High quality LDPE coating blend allows for very long U.V. stability and excellent welding properties, abrasion resistance, and high impermeability. A high quality, high thread count HDPE scrim is used to ensure extremely high puncture resistance & tear resistance. Protection can be provided with layers of sand, concrete, fiber-matting and other materials. Pond liners are manufactured in rolls. Strips of liner can be seamed or welded together on site; and a number of flexible types can have their panels pre-fabricated together in the factory to fit the design shape of the pond. The edge of the pond liner can be rolled over and secured in a trench or it can be fixed to a vertical wall made in brick or concrete.

The problem would be to get out of the pond... The polythene is very slippery and few people have died because of that... Rope ladders and floaters can be used for safety... Some farmers do use these things for bathing...!!!

Dear Malviya ji, How many days this water remains once it is filled through rain water. I mean to say, don't it evaporate? If so, how many days it takes to completely evaporate. We had to hire experts from UK and was very expensive. It seems that the technology is available in Nepal. How can we proceed (contacts, etc.)?

That's not how volcanism and gravitational pressure works. All the water on earth would instantly flash into steam if poured directly into the core... would not even reduce the core temperature by a single degree.
