I watched another scrapper from AUS who found a vacuum illegally thrown along the road. He took the cord and motor but left the other bits saying "I didn't throw it here so I don't have to clean it up". Of course, I had to have a few words with the gentleman about taking the vac pieces he did not want...do the responsible thing. He said "Yea, that would have been the right thing to do but I didn't have to". Thank you, Mr. Prophet, for not being "that guy"...for always showing integrity and respect. I appreciate you even more after seeing the other. :)

Thanks mate. I’ve found it works best if I knock. Especially if I’m going to turn things over. They often say thanks for asking and sometimes residents have extra things like car batteries to give. I also met one of my washer guys and a local home mechanic, with heaps of chunky scrap, this way 👌
