I find interesting to compare the thoughts people have about youth and teenagers nowadays to this. I barely knew anything about them. But there was this unwavering hope. That person becomes why you get up in the morning. And then I think about whatever that person is to me now. I was living in a very small town in Ohio. All of the houses were old and from a time long gone. I had just graduated college when a friend and I started talking. No more late nights together. No more long drives. No more getting to hold hands. No more gifts or surprises from one another. For about a week, I played this song and the album constantly to cope. Now I knew what it was like to experience the feeling of "Never Meant." But if you've made it to the end of this, know that life keeps going. It doesn't stop. Good things come and go on their own whether we ask them to or not. That girl and I are still good friends and we both wish the best for one another. I hope you can get back up and continue living and appreciating all that you go through.
