Pompano could be an amazing beach town but the area 2 miles from the beach is still half ghetto near railroad tracks. You won't see that in this video. I lived near there for years. Look up "Dixie Highway" in pompano beach and follow the road around on the google camera.

Whereas most cities are trying to expand their roadways, the mayor of Pompano decided to remove a driving lane to add trees and shrubbery. The result? Tons of needless traffic.

Pompano community air park is full of homeless people living in their vans and other vehicles because they can't afford the rent nearby. Last time I was there (about a year ago) the park had ugly outdated exercise signs leftover from the 1970's.

I love living in Florida. Awesome beaches, nature, so much to do. Great roads, updated infrastructure, strongest and best building codes in the nation, etc. A variety to do for every and anyone. What I love most is having access to beautiful beaches and just chilling. Take the canopy and set it up on the beach and just chill all day. I love my regular lazy vacations right here at home. 🌴😎💜

I'm so happy I found your videos. We live in the Detroit suburbs but simple adore Florida. There's a place for the glitz & glamour but this area looks like it would fit me like a glove. I like it more quiet. I will visit &use you as a guide. We usually head for the key's. That's my happy place. I much enjoyed your Grand Rapids & Holland, Michigan videos too. The tulip festival is on my bucket list. 🌷. As your Detroit video stated,. It's come a long way. The waterfront has been developed & downtown is filled with people. That wasn't the case in the 70s, 80s & 90s. I hope you come back. From the international wildlife refuge in Trenton (Downriver) from Detroit, to the amazing Henry Ford museum/Greenfield village in Dearborn, all the way up to Mackinac City & Mackinac Island with the beautiful Mackinac Bridge. (Pronounced Mackinaw) & of course beautiful Traverse City,. It would make a beautiful video & stunning must for anyone's vacation. Another great place is Sylvia's Cafe in The Cove in Deerfield It's a small cafe with an amazing breakfast. I went there in late March almost a month before this video came out. I decided to skip my motel breakfast and walk a couple miles. I had some great scrambled eggs and french toast.

I just started to watch your videos and I find them very informative. I'm a single retired 58 yr old who wants to snowbird to Florida Nov.1st-May1st. Living in New England I'm so sick of Winters w/Nor'easters, blizzards, ice storms etc. etc.. Going to do 6 months Summer Seasonal up by York Beach, Maine to the Kennebunkport, Maine area. Just like Edie & Tom in your video from York Beach, Maine. Owned a Summer seasonal up at York Beach for 10 yrs back in the 80's & 90's. 6 months Winter Seasonal in Fla. and 6 months Summer Seasonal Southern Maine beaches within 18 months.👍 Anyways very informative videos you present. Everything I read about Pompano Beach says it is dangerous. But it looks so nice! That boat that cleans the water is awesome! The butterfly park is so beautiful! Everything looks great! Great video! In terms of Coconut water a Jamaican nurse told me to drink it before a blood test. My veins are small they cant ever get blood out of me. OJ and water does not work for me! But ever since I drank the coconut water before a blood test I have not had a problem and this is a life long problem! I dont always get my notifications on YT. So if you get back to me I might not see it.

This channel brings the best of Florida! The water is beautiful. Im not sure if its is better than the Gulf. However, golden sand is not any where near the gulf. They have gorgeous crystal clear white sands. Just my 2 cents

I don’t like the new Pompano pier with all the shops. I liked it fairly empty without the eyesore of a parking garage. They turned Deerfield into a nightmare. Why’d they bring that to nice quiet pompano Beach? Where are all ya senior citizens suppose to feel nd peace and quiet? That’s what Pompano Beach was. Peace and quiet. Not restraints, tshirt shops and bars and businesses everywhere. I like Angelins pier before Mr. Anglin died. A locals only beach. Now, it too is an overcrowded nightmare. It’s all about bringing in tax dollars and raising property values beyond what middle class Americans can afford to pay.

I lived from pompano then Boca raton then Deerfield Fort Lauderdale back to Deerfield. Back in 19-76 through 20-06 I even worked and lived in Boynton Beach Port Saint Lucie and Fort Pierce it got very expensive living in Florida
