I love how much their statement proves their own guilt. Like, this is exactly as bad as everyone thought it was behind the scenes, and they provided the proof themselves. Everything they say in this statement is entirely consistent with the harshest possible fan speculation. They dragged their feet and muddled the rights process, Selen talked to the creators directly to get permission from them, management didn't care and privated it anyway. When Selen complained, she was locked out of all socials and terminated. ABSOLUTE POS company, every liver would be better off without them.

Pomu and Selen got me into NijiEn with how creative, funny, and endlessly passionate they were - so hearing how their own company apparently treated them like absolute shit infuriates me to no end. At this point, I am praying that the rest of NijiEn goes on strike or forms a union or _something_ because they deserve so much better than what they’ve been getting right now. So, the inevitable finally happened. While I won't say this is the final nail in the coffin for Nijisanji, this is probably the event that will lead to it. If you're hemorrhaging talented employees, it's due to bad management and a toxic work environment. Plain and simple. And in this case, it's so horrendous that it nearly cost the life of one of their best people. When Selen went radio silent for an entire month, I figured that it was probably due to her lawyering up and potentially starting litigation. Seems I was right. Her current statement on her PL account is brief, but very telling. This is far from over. In the meantime, I hope that she finds someplace better, where she can use her intelligence, creativity, and passion to the fullest.

Definitely saw the termination coming when Hyte announced the collab with Nijisanji and their choice for Obsydia was Rosemi and not Selen. Any Color, your reputation was ruined the moment Zaion released her docs and the "long breaks" were revealed to be shadow suspensions. The whole doc they released reads like a petty shift blame onto Selen. They shift all the blame onto her. I can only imagine what the internals were like. The poor girl tried to take her own life. I mean there seems to be an EN talent who bullied Selen? I speculate it might be Luca or Millie due to their previous behavior, or maybe some other EN managers’ poster child, but we have to wait for Selen’s testimony for that. And yes, JP branch-only the top most popular and selling talents that is-is still going super strong here in Japan. Also there are so many Japanese viewers who actually protects Nijisanji for all these recent EN conflicts, and the Western fans’ opinion might as well be considered minority here. This is what JP societal culture is capable of.

It's definitely not Cover and almost certainly at a black level, but most aspiring Vtuber would chose Niji over any normal 9 to 5 jobs out there(they still make a lot of money even with the sad merchandise commission rate). Heck, even the current me who knew the drama would have actually joined if I feel like I'm entertaining enough(sadly I'm not). Just endure until the contract ends and then go indie with all the cash, fame, connection and knowledge you made after the 2 years of hardship in Niji

From the claims in Nijisanjis own post, Selens claims in the past, and the claims of other livers formerly associated with nijisanji, its really clear that there was a massive amount of mismanagement from Nijisanjis part, and that Selen did her job, you know, content creation, even spending 15k of her own own money(which should have been from Nijisanjis pocket imo), and did her best at being an entertaining liver and content creator, despite managements incompentence.I think this was kinda of a Catch-22 for Selen. She either goes along with the incompetent management, and doesnt do the content she wants to make and we want to support, or does things despite the incompetent management and this happens. At this point, I'm just praying for Nijisanji to drop dead, or for someone to find that Anycolor itself is in breach of contract and sue their asses.

It was so bad for Selen that she almost succeeded in "leaving us permanently". If one of the most successful talents was pushed to that point from the time there, you can only imagine how it's like for others that were less successful. It just made me realize exactly how serious Mata was when she said "Mousey saved my life". Thank goodness she is still around. She deserves so much more than anything Niji can offer. I'm happy to see the community rally together in support for her.

I've been a fan of NijiEN ever since Lazulight and have been defending them since.... ....BUT F*CK ALL THAT. Anyone with a decently working brain knows that current NijiEN isn't the same as the earliest days of NijiEN(Hell, this is true for the main branch also). I'm glad Pomu, Selen, and the others who've left the company are finally free now to do whatever they want. I don't want the company to crash and burn due to the fact that the livers will be affected, but goddamn it is it hard to just ignore everything else happening. (If anyone has any news regarding reincarnations of a fairy, a dragon, and a ghost... please tell me.)
