I found the default grading tools in C3d to be unreliable at times so I switched to using Kobi Tools for C3d and it was a game changer.

it would have been a good steps but basic information that will make your work highly appreciated were lacking like 1. pond dimension including the grading or side slopes 2. spillway dimensions 3. please how do I estimate my spillway discharge? hope you will reply many thanks
