SO NICE HAVING THE BIG POND NOT JUST FOR ITS ECO BENEFITS AND SUSTAINABILITY BUT ALSO SO NICE TO LOOK AT AND SWIM IN. YOU COULD PUT SOME NICE REEDS IN THERE OR PRETTY LILLY PADS WOULD LOOK GREAT

You do NOT want catails! They will take over everything. There are companies that specialize in aquatic plants for the edge and in the water lots to choose from. I would go for pencil reeds and different lily pads for I the water, iress for the edge. Good luck!
