Nice little set up on a budget and water looked good. Won’t grow any whoppers but he definitely knows how to keep them in great condition 👌🏽it was like listening to my old man going on about how much we all spend on the hobby when you can do it much cheaper 👍🏼

Nice video. I totally agree regarding the summer food content… Main ingredients must be fish based. We differ on the winter feeding. If my fish are looking for food, I feed them.

It's good to see other peoples ideas when it comes with filtration.. couldn't fault the clarity of his water fish all looked in good health so thumbs up.. 👍 you should definitely do more pond visits.. have a good week mate 👍 jobs a good un 👍

Intersting to see how others keep koi. Im more the modern aproach regards feeding, i feed mine 3 times and keep feeding if their actively looking for food, mine never go hungry. Hes got some lovely koi

Hi Beverly, I'm sorry if your fish are having issues, I have never treated or even seen anyone treating for dropsy so I wouldn't be confident in advising a treatment and Its something I would have to research myself if needed, I would suggest contacting a few local dealers for their opinions. Hi I have bought some Blagdon salt having trouble with dosage I am using it fir my koi with dropsey 330 gallin pond could you help me with dosage, ice also bought an ulcer treatment for her . Also my fish have decided to breed today is it safe to treat pond atm thank you

Hi Beverley if blagon salt is the same as pdv salt then you can go upto 0.6% or approx 1kg per 1000lt for 0.1% i do believe blagdon have a product treatment calculator on their website. As for using it with another treatment it should say on the instructions as not all treatments can be used with salt but should be fine with spawning. I hope that help Andy.

Hello I've had my koi pond 3 yrs and I still dont why they wont breed

Rita they may never breed, there are so many different factors that have to be correct, also you might find them spawning in the summer but never see any fry eggs even when using spawning brushes the koi will eat them. I've never had any fry eggs survive in my pond.
