Ponnochid korpuni = A tradition of handing over the bride to the in-law family by bride's parents or any others in the parents' position. ( Since my father is expired, my uncle and aunt had taken this place)
It is a tradition in every religion for a bride to leave her parent's home and step toward her Husband's home. Since it's a love cum arrange marriage, I was close to my in-law family before marriage and was excited to be a part of their family and didn't want to cry. But what made me emotional is the words said by @dineshsuvarnarayee6807 during this time. Though I was happy to go to my new home, I couldn't resist my tears when Dineshanna described how my parents raised me and how my mother took care of me after my dad's death. He adds "If she ever does any mistake unknowingly, just forgive her, and if it's done intentionally, feel free to inform us, but never raise your hand on our child."
