Hi, which is better to choose ponsse or john deere? :)

That depens what kind of job you do. If you have first thinnings then i prefer JD1070 (better view with turning and levelling cab), if you have second/third thinnings and clear cuts then i prefer Ponsse Beaver/JD1170. They both are great machines, both have their own plusses and minuses. I like more JD computer and autimatisation but Ponsse C44+ boom and H6 head are awsome. We turned to Ponsse Beaver beacause the JD1070 was too small for our job. New JD1170G was too expensive and we dont need bigger machine. Ponsse Beaver has the same boom like Fox/Cobra/Ergo C44+, only Beaver has one slewing motor on boom, Fox/Cobra/Ergo has two slewing motors. Comparsion with JD1070E with Ponsse Beaver i cut more cubes per hour/ lower fuel consumtion per cube with Ponsse Beaver.

@@riffthetiffmaster9573 Thanks for info! Ponsse machines will be with less fuel consumption than John Deere? If directly compare the 1270G and the Scorpion King....then which one would you choose?

@@raivoreuts7381 compare JD1070E 2010 year to Ponsse Beaver 2019 year, Ponsse has lower fuel consuption to the cube. Big fuel economy comes from operator, head and crane settings and so on. I think when i have to choose, then i will take the Ponsse Scorpion. Beacause better view to the work area. Some says the 1270G have more power in boom than Ponsse Scorpion King. My experience is only 2 years Timberjack1070 2001 year, 5 years JD1070E 2010 year and 1,5 years on Ponsse Beaver 2019 year. I have tried once Scorpion King about 2 hours. I havent tried 1270G.
