I love your videos. I like to see something different and I love the fact that you are covering books I would never even consider. I have started collecting first editions, signed first editions and fine bindings, which include Folio Society. I would love to see videos on those topics. There don't seem to be many BookTubers covering first editions.

Hi, Pontus! I personally came to this channel, because of the presentation of beautiful book editions, although I admit that SciFi and fantasy are among my favorite genres. So as long as you keep presenting beautiful book editions, I will keep coming back. I am not particularly interested in religion or philosophy, but I do enjoy looking at books about Asian culture and art (Japanese, Indian and other Asian cultures) and yes, manga is part of Japanese culture and art, so I enjoy seeing manga on this channel as well. While I like the background music, I do enjoy more when you talk about the books as well, including information about the type of binding, paper, etc. The only thing I don't particularly enjoy are some paperbacks that you show that have poor paper and none or meager black and white graphic illustrations, such as Penguin Classics. These types of books are fine when one is a student and all that they are interest is the text content of the book, but in my humble opinion, they are not worthy additions to one's home library (unless there is no other option and with classic literature there are plenty of other options). Plus, once you have seen one Penguin Classic edition, you have seen them all, the differences are the text content and the picture on the cover, but edition wise those books are all the same to me.

Hello Pontus, I’ve been viewing your videos since 2019 and it’s always a pleasure to see a new video from you. I’m part of that fantasy/sci-fi/FS crowd, but it’s fun to see your interests change with time. Great video, thanks ! As for Neuromancer, I read on a book forum that it comes out this very week (August 14th). If so, there’s not much time remaining for you to read it 😂

I don't care if it's sci-fi or philosophy. I can read them both with the same interest. I care about beautiful books. I do appreciate more the videos where you show limited editions or illustrated books (the taschen ones especially) rather than the ones where standard paperbacks are displayed.
