First of all. I’ve been around horses/ponies ma whole life. Even helped birth a foal. And honey, that’s not a foal. That is a pony. If it was being an ass and needed some discipline, he can damn well get on that horse. They are dangerous creatures if they aren’t told whose the boss. In this case, you don’t know why he was getting on. But it could be that it hasn’t been saddled in a long time and he didn’t want his KID getting on it. Second of all. Colter Bechtold bigger doesn't mean harder. if you have to man handle to "break" a horse. you're doing it wrong. there are many other ways to break horses\ponies. To me this man is to big. I wouldn't want anyone my weight trying to ride on my back. Horses and pony's (depending on breed and age) their bones won't mature until at least 4 to 6 years of age. the pony struggled keeping himself up while the guy was on him. people call that a clue. to me, seeing the pony's reaction he was clueless on what the guy was even asking. this coulda been done better. Just being honest.

Wow it was so tolerant of everything and really relaxed for being all tacked up as just a baby. Someone did a great job training him up until they made the decision to ride him. Abuse, abuse, ABUSE. This is abusive. The poor animal has trouble carrying such weight, and it can cause an injury. Also, the pony obviously seems to be in discomfort, obviously shown by bucking. Small and mini horses are not meant to be ridden if they are untrained or too small.

The pony/foal was fine, I have a dog, and she is 55lbs, and she's strong enough to pull me, just walking, so multiply that by the size of the pony, they are alot stronger than most people give them credit for, it's not like the guy, was 300-500 pounds, some ones gotta train the pony, I'm sure you'd rather have a child, or young teen get Injured or paralyzed, just because you're worried about the pony?🤔 please, that pony is stronger than 2-4 humans put together.
