Ah, I really love the premise! It goes to show how far Applejack is willing to go for her family and friends. Plus, I love the style of the story. This reminds me of Higurashi, Happy Death Day, Diary of a Time Looper, and Groundhog Day.

Great story! What applejack did in the end was kind of selfish in a way. Her brother seemed to know it was his time to go and he didn’t want to live without his family, so applejack kind of stuck him with the fate that she didn’t want.

This story reminds me of “Appointment in Samara.” A servant in Baghdad sees Death in the marketplace and goes to his master, asking him for a horse so he could go to Samara. The master then confronts Death and Death says he was surprised to see the servant in Baghdad when he was going to see him that night in Samara. While it may not be related to this particular story, the message is the same: We may think we’re running away from our death, but we’re actually running *toward* it. Still, I admire the lengths Applejack went to keep her brother from dying. Her loyalty to her family is no joke.

Death cannot be cheated, Death does not like to be cheated, but come Hell or high water Applejack will move mountains for her Family. This is a beautifully tragic story, and the moment where Big Mac and Applejack were having their heart to heart was really special. Death is just one of those things we are all destined for, it's just what we do with our lives is what makes it count. But the ending hit me the hardest, when Applejack was telling Granny, "goodbye" and "thanks for everything," and when she told Apple Bloom of how "proud she was of her." That's when I knew what was coming next and I got tears in my eyes from it. Well done, Scribbler and Team. Loved it.

Ngl, after she asked for twilight to cast the spell again, I thought it was going to end with AJ purposely going through the loop again and again, even knowing he’d die or she’d just wake up again every time, just so she’d get to spend that time with Big Mac.

spoilers: i have to say that it was SO refreshing to experience a time loop story in which the character experiencing the loop can be honest about what's happening and get taken seriously, even if it didn't work entirely. like, if it were anyone else telling mac this crazy tale he'd find it hard to believe just like anyone would, but because it's AJ telling it he's just like "whoa thats crazy lets beat this thing" lmao. hell yeah man, love to see that

Kind of reminds me of The Time Machine (2002), where the main character tries to save the love of his life in the first half of the movie. but learns the hard way that time can not be changed if a person is destined to die, then faith will ensure that that person dies one way or another. It's a small lesson to the viewers that there are some things that are out of your control. While this fanfic is genre as darkfic. It feels more like feelpasta. Moral of the story. Sometimes in life you just need to learn to let go, grief for a while and then move on with your life. Especially, when a love one passed on be it by accident or natural causes. Sure it's a long and hard road. but eventually things will get better. Especially if you let it and not lost hope.

Update just got to the vid this was one hay of a and wow that ending hated that my fav pon died but destiny will always have its way also most of this video reminds me of a show I watched back in 2009 or 10 i cant remember that did the same thing regular show I believe it was did a episode like this were they had time machine and it was similar to what’s happening in this accept they was try to fix a kiss gone wrong between Margaret and Mordecai and kept getting worse until the decided to destroy the machine
