Applejack was never once mentioned in the story, only Big Mac. My guess is Applejack passed away, and Diamond Tiara being a pony who takes pleasure out of hurting other ponies, decided to mock Applebloom about her dead sister. That being the final straw to Applebloom's tolerance of Diamond Tiara.

[PROJECT.D] Tofu Runner I believe that AB poisoned her and hid her body somewhere on the farm. One thing that gave it away was the lillies. She laid one on her grave and has 15 around her herb garden. Also at the 'funeral' her eyes weren't puffy like SB and Scoots. There was no real emotion with AB's tears.

Crazy is when you do harmful acts and think it'll help people in a way without knowing that what they are doing is wrong or bad. Evil is when you do harmful acts for fun and enjoyment and when you enjoy people suffering. you know it's wrong and bad.
