On a meta level, this really hits hard for the MLP universe. Creatures like dragons, hydras, and timber wolves are monsters that are easily recognized and understood. But other ponies...their friends and neighbors...those are the monsters that hide in the darkness and surprise you when you least expect it.

@@FriendsOfSon-uvaDash If you're referring to why it hits hard for the MLP universe, it is because this is a place where peace and harmony reign supreme and generally the ponies trust each other. To think that such an innocent little thing could be capable of something so horrible is just gut-wrenching If you mean in general...well...Imagine this... You are standing with your friends facing down a hydra that intends to eat you. The hydra is the obvious threat. It is big, loud, grotesque, and its goal is clearly defined. It wishes to eat you and makes no secret about that. But...now imagine those friends behind you. They're the ones you trust. They're the ones who will stand with you against this beast...right? Well...what if one or all of them secretly acted against you to bring the hydra here. You wouldn't know unless they were found out. THEY are the monsters you don't know, the monsters that wear a friendly face while making the lives of others miserable from the shadows. The hydra might be defeated, but the ones that brought it here...the ones you might call friends...will continue their nefarious work in secret. I hope that clears things up. ^_^

@@babyblue_22 grimdark is where everyone dies and or there is no hope. Darkfic is where there is at least hope and a semblance of a happy ending. Think of disaster movies that end with a bunch of survivors. Yeah things are bad but it can get better, grimdark is everyone dies.

I think I find Diamond Tiara being able to beat up Apple Bloom the part odder than Apple Bloom being possessed by Mr. Crunch and eating Diamond. Diamond Tiara, a filly who never did a hard day's work all her life, being able to overpower and beat up Apple Bloom, a filly who's worked hard every day all her life? That I find hard to believe

And one last thing I want you to get hurt my greatest gratitude because the one story I really liked was the story of the blank flanks story of the cannibals and many other stories I unfortunately forgot the name of and this is just incredible I'm throwing out but this will be an idea for a future story if she ever interested in telling it of the story of the blank flanks the one was the zombies but this time we focus on the ending to a new beginning to wear Apple makes it out but unfortunately she becomes one of the zombies

This was a good story overall, but I have to be honest, as much as a jerk Diamond Tiara is, she cuts with her words, she definitely doesn't strike me as someone capable of physical violence. I 100% believe that she would get henchmen to do it for her, doubt she would ever do it herself. Especially hard to buy that Apple Bloom of all ponies wouldn't fight back or that Scootaloo wouldn't jump in on the action.But otherwise, a good read to listen to.
