Nice video, but you should've went over buying "999x" ammo via send to storage by pressing L3. A LOT of new players, and people with 100h miss this function; and end up living off the arrows/guns they find.

You are absolutely correct. This is a very valuable tip. I didn't cover it in this little video because it falls more under "cool little helpful tip" than it explains some basics of the blacksmith. But, I will mention this as another quality of life thing that players should look into!

can't temper purity or corruption :( other elements can be tempered

The game stats are crazy. I thought the negative weapon stat is no good, so I keep get rid of them...lol. Normally, if the weapon does not consume Ki, then it's stat should show 0%. When it shows -7.5 %, that throws people off. So, what is 0% and why -7.5% is better? When Ki bar is zero, you can't do nothing with a weapon either its -12% or 10% Ki consumption. If you have Ki, then why a weapon consumes -12% is better than -4.5%. Percentage is based on the whole (basic math, fraction, pizza slides...etc), the whole cannot be 0 or negative. It's illogical to say my car consumes -10% gasoline going downhill. As they say: "The translator is the traitor"

Welcome to the confusion that is Nioh lol. If an attack costs 100 ki, then reducing melee attack ki consumption by 10% would mean it costs 90 ki instead. But yeah, there are many many issues with the translation.
